The trip

Exploration fishing is not the same as guided fishing and thus each trip will be unique. The quoted price will include everything from transport, accomodation, gear and everything you might need to join us on a trip. The trip and targeted species will be discussed and a custom trip will be created for each person

Many of the streams we go to are dangerous mountainous streams littered with massive boulders and other unknown elements, thus this trip is only for the most capable Fly and lure anglers.

As this is an exploration trip, the price will be lower than an average guided trip because we will all be living, fishing and exploring unknown rivers and streams together

TAKE NOTE…

Through years of research and scouting, we have aquired relevant knowledge to the locations of various species, but the trip is exploritory, which means that your targeted species can not be promised

The minimum duration for such a trip is 3 days/5 nights (travel via sleeper bus at night and arrive early moring)

To join on this trip:

You will need a water filter (Lifestraw), Hiking/wading boots, basic first aid kit (we will have one on hand as well)

Having a fair bit of hiking and stream fishing experience

Know how to swim

Able to ride a motorcycle/scooter

Be proficient in lure fishing/Flyfishing

Be in good physical condition

About the trip

As each trip will be custom crafted, full plans and itenararies will be discussed beforehand.

From hanoi we will travel by sleeper bus to each destination, check in at homestays and rent Motorbikes or scooters to visit nearby streams.

Although we will always try to give you the best spots and first casts, we will all be fishing together and sharing in the fun and exhiliration of catching or discovering new places and species

The trip can be modified mid journey if the targeted location is not producing well or other unknown factors (muddy water, flooding, inaccessibality) becomes a factor

You will go to and see places no tourist have ever seen before

You will see waterfalls, cliffs, rural cultures and streams that will leave you in awe

We will do our very best to get you on new and desirable species as it is beneficial to us as well

The plans, accomodation and logistics will be planned out and discussed before each trip to minimize traveling, Costs and inconvenience

What we cant promise

As we only have broad knowledge of each area/stream, we cant gaurentee good fishing, some streams/rivers may be influenced by unknown factors like Pollution, Overfishing, Debris, Large waterfalls or exsesive danger

Your safety is our number 1 priority, but we cant gaurentee that you will come out unscathed, Bruises, falls, slips, and cuts are all part of it. If a location is deemed too dangerous we can discuss a workaround or figure out the best way to mitigate danger or to change plans and visit other streams

Your target species. Based on reports and similar experiences in an area we have very good reason to believe the species you are after can be found at the location, be it wolf barb, mahseer, phoenix barb etc. Unfortnuantely these are just reports and gathered information. Diligent research will be done before embarking on each trip to maximise success
